As of July 1st a paper fee will be charged for print/mail documents, the fee will be charged quarterly on your Holstein Canada invoice. The first billing of $5 will be in October for July, August and September.

As the world continues to move towards more and more online and digital ways of doing business, Holstein Canada, like many other associations, can benefit greatly from moving towards paper-free processes. By adopting digital processes, we can reduce our environmental impact, save costs, and improve efficiency and accuracy. There are many key benefits of going paper-free!

Holstein Canada can reduce our carbon footprint, and conserve natural resources by reducing paper usage. Going paper-free can help reduce negative impacts, promote sustainability and environmental responsibility, which as we know, is among the top priorities in the dairy industry right now.

Customer Benefits

Going paper-free can also benefit our members in several ways. By adopting digital processes, Holstein Canada can provide faster, accurate, and transparent service to our members. Digital data is just as accurate and reliable, providing members with information that is correct and up-to-date. Digital processes allow members to track their registrations, awards, genomic tests, invoices and more, through their Holstein Canada Web Account, and access other relevant data in real-time. A new feature that we have added is that all of your data is now available forever!

Cost Savings

Going paper-free can also help Holstein Canada and our membership save money on printing, paper, and storage costs. This can free up resources that can be used to invest in other areas of our business.

The Switch FAQs

How do I change my Preferences on my Web Account?
Once you have logged in to your Web Account, from the left-hand menu, select Preferences. A list of all available documents will appear on the main screen, you can then choose to click ‘All Electronic’, updating all of your documents to online only, or you can individually select which documents you would like to have mailed, or online only.

Additionally, you can choose to receive email notifications of new e-documents by selecting one of your email addresses from the drop box.

Where do I find my Certificates of Registry?
Once you have logged in to your Web Account, from the left-hand menu select Online Services, from the drop-down menu, select Herd Management. Selecting List types of "Owned by” or "Owned & Bred” will show a full list of your herd and you have the ability to download individual Certificates of Registry, and Save or Print as you wish. Additionally, all your documents will be saved under your eDocuments.

Will my Certificates of Registry disappear after 12 months like in e-documents?
No! This is a new feature that we have added for our members convenience. Every one of your Certificates of Registry will be available at any time on your Web Account Herd management section Forever! Note – the Certificates of Registry will always display the most current information.

Will my Awards continue to be mailed free of charge?
Yes! We believe that winning any awards that have been achieved are exciting milestones on your farm, and we will continue to send Awards free of charge.

How much does it cost to continue to have my documents mailed to me?
If you had any documents printed and that are available with an electronic preference, there will be a $5 quarterly charge.

How will my account be billed for mailed documents?
You will see the charge on your invoice if you had any printed and mailed document in the previous quarter. You can continue to receive the high-quality printed copies of all your documents from Holstein Canada for a quarterly fee!
